For a cheap headlamp, it’s really not terrible
I needed a cheap headlamp to use around the house for various projects that needed a lot of light focused in on area. These work great, they’re cheap no doubt but they work and they’re rechargeable. They hold charge for quite a while, thanks to the LEDs. The headband is what you’d expect, just an elastic band which will almost certainly wear out eventually. There are small indicator lights on the side that show remaining charge.The whole wave you’re hand in front of it to turn it on and off feature is kind of ill conceived. It works but ends up turning off and on way more than you’d like it to. But again, for the low cost I’ll take it and use it till they die.

Better than previous ones
These generic head lamps I have bought over the years under a few different brands names but the all seem to be more or less identical. A pleasant surprise this time though. The battery last a longer than previous ones especially if you don’t use the brightest setting also switching to a type-C charging port makes it more convenient. Now I only have to bring 1 cord with my battery back to charge my headlamp and phone while camping.The biggest issues I have with it now that the battery is better is the motion sensor is useless sand annoying to me, maybe some people like it but it’s novelty wore off pretty quick. I would also like to see them come with a lock so it doesn’t come and drain the battery while it’s bumping around in my pack. If those ever get fixed these would be 5* lights to me. But probably still the best bang for your buck.

One defective light
I love the idea of these rechargeable headlamps; I use them constantly in my shop. This one in particular has been more durable then other brands. I bought a set of 2 prior to buying these ones which seem slightly upgraded and are a littkle brighter. Well the first light out the box worked for a few hours and went to go recharge it and nothing, wont take a charge. Took the 2nd one out the box and so far so good with that one, have already recharged that one several times, so will see. The motion detect feature on this light is better then others for sure. I kind of wish they would forget about the auto feature and focus more on battery life and recharging, it is a cool feature at first but it does get annoying when they turn off on their own and you got both hands full and have to shake your head to try and get it to turn back on, so neat idea but just bright and dependable would be better. Hopefully seller will contact me and I can upgrade my rating. For the price I figured I would only get so much but I at least expected both lights to work for more then a day. 1 of the 2 is still going strong tho.

Solid Backcountry Choice
I thought I would roll the dice to see if I could get away with a cheap option for backcountry skiing at night in Vermont. These work better than the old ones I had which cost much more. The lumans are as advertised, and I think they are worth more than they cost, but that doesn’t mean they are super bright. They definitely do well enough, even in blizzard conditions. The battery seems to do quite well, even in extreme cold and the motion detection is super helpful with thick mittens on.

Great lights for the price and you get two. Win-Win. Plus since they are rechargeable and you aren’t buying batteries they are perfectly fine. If they last two years you have gotten your money’s worth. I have another headlamp that I bought for $26 and I don’t know how many batteries I bought for it. Never again.Always get rechargeable anything if you can even if it’s just something inexpensive like this headlamp. If it works you come out ahead. Six months and both of my headlamps are still working for occasional use. If you want a workhorse look elsewhere.

Hard tested
I have used this headlamp in a variety of conditions to great effect. I wore it under the house when I cut out my drainpipe and I banged the heck out of it. I also wear it when I feed the owls at the bird sanctuary I volunteer at. The red light is nice because it doesn’t spook the animals or offend my eyes. The super bright light was much appreciated when I was in the crawl space with the bugs and spiders trying to cut a clogged pipe, I can tell you. The fact that it was rechargeable really sold me. In the past, I have had batteries corrode inside my headlamp and there is nothing worse than a headlamp full of acid. I have put these babies to the test and found them acceptable and I am a hard judge.

Great Headlamp
These headlamps were purchased as raffle prizes. However, my friend has the exact same ones and I used it for camping at night and they were bright and easy to use. Bright enough to use in the tent while getting ready for bed or if you have to leave the tent in the middle of the night for nature call. It is handy to just strap it onto your head and still have both hands free.

Kiddo thinks they’re awesome
Kiddo thinks these are awesome. As far as they are concerned the motion detector option is the best part.The bright white is SUPER bright. Several brightness options including strobe and a red color. Easily adjustable, fits well. My only suggestion is to add fabric or something of the sort behind the unit to stay on a sweaty head. It kept slipping off their hard had too.

Better than I expected
Based on all the negative reviews, I thought I would need to return these head lamps once they came in. However, I’ve had none of the issues others talk about.1. Battery Life. I’ve used these daily for a week now with no battery issues. On highest intensity, they lasted me two hours before they dimmed. I would say that is good.2. Charging issues. The only thing you must do, is use the cables provided. They are different than standard cables in someway. I’ve charged, recharged daily for a week with no issues. The blue lights tell you how much power is left, and flash as it charges. This was no issue and worked well.3. You have to click through all the settings to get to the one you want. Not really. If you always or mostly use setting 3, just go to 3 and remember to turn off the light by holding the button in. Next time it will turn on, at that remembered setting. Not in the instructions however.4. Had wave gestures are intermittent. I found that it is easy to wave my hand to turn or off the light. Though I didn’t find a practical use for it yet.Given the competitive pricing, I am pleased with my purchase.

These lamps are actually not that bad. The “glass” gets scaratched pretty eastmy if you keep them on your belt loop with a carabiner like I do for quick access but the battery life is true as it could be to thei advertised specs and so is the light output. Have not had ONE PROBLEM with any kind of glitch or anything with either of them since I bought them a few months ago. No rain getting in them either at all whatsoever. I use them almost DAILY bike riding as I don’t drive (by choice) and they have held up WELL. Thank you! 🙏

GREAT HEADLAMPS!
I purchased these for two reasons. Besides the generous pricing for two, I wanted headlamps that don’t use batteries. The units that use batteries always break when replacing the batteries and then the thing’s no good. Secondly, I got a true LED HEADLAMP which means in true darkness these things light up the world.We also use them for our hobby. My wife was using her cell phone flashlight to do all of her close up cleaning work and with the headlamps she has both hands-free and it’s bright beyond belief.I look forward to using these when we go camping. It’s a whole lot easier to find the water closet in complete darkness when you have one of these things strapped to your noggin. I highly recommend them.Didn’t receive any compensation or any free gifts or any free headlamps for saying wonderful things about our new headlamps.

What’s not to love about the easy control of your light .. these eliminate the hassle of fumbling around to turn the light on and off … It’s a hassle to go through all the different light choices to get to the “ off “ I haven’t used them yet but had fun testing them… they may have a learning curve as to triggering the sensor when you didn’t want to.. but depends on what you’re using them for.. it’s easy enough to wave them back on if they go off accidentally..

Accidentally found out it works under water!
I bought these for a family camping trip and they turned out to be invaluable. They worked well and fit everyone from my brother-in-law to my 2 and a half year old niece. We actually put it on her so that we could see her in the dark. She loved it and loved being able to see in the dark – just like the rest of us I suppose. When she was done wearing it she dropped it in a 5 gallon bucket of water. It continued to work whole being completely submerged. It still works after it dried out!

Very Nice All Around Headlamp – Improved Over What I thought I was Ordering
I thought I was ordering the same headlamps I had ordered about a year ago… to my surprise, these are even better! So I took some pictures of them side by side.You can see that the COB (yellow) parts are definitely bigger (and they’re noticeably brighter for area lighting. The spot light part (reflector in the middle) is a little smaller on the new headlamps, but they put out the same amount of light. I guess they use the same LED, just a little smaller reflector to make room for the bigger COB.The buttons are also bigger, and easier to find… the straps are both high quality – perfect for holding the headlamp comfortably. The new version has a USB-C cable (easier to use, and more common than the micro USB on the old one that you’d have to plug in only one way. USB-C goes either way). And finally, in the third picture, you can see the blue LEDs on the side that indicate battery level (very handy). On the new headlamp, there’s an added green LED to show when the motion sensor is active.So, why do I really like these lights? They’re bright, can handle getting wet (I haven’t tested them under severe conditions, but getting rained on is no problem at all), and they’re rechargeable! That saves lots of batteries that my older headlamps eat. The cost of batteries alone will pay for these lamps in 6 months to a year for me.The flip side of the rechargeable batteries is that you can’t just replace the batteries when they’re dead. You have to charge them. That’s why I always carry the second one with me – so that I can just swap them out while the first one is charging. This may be an issue for you if you’re on a long camping trip, or otherwise away from a power source for charging.In summary, these lights are bright enough in either mode to be very useful, small enough to be handy, don’t require batteries, and can handle water. I generally don’t use the motion detector, but I could see it being handy when you’re around others, and don’t want to blind them. Overall, they’re a good choice for my needs.

Light with alot of features
I bought this light as a crucial device to be able to see clearly into my mother’s mouth. She recently had a surgical procedure where part of her tongue was removed. Under the doctors request we are to do surveillance in the mouth periodically to assess the result of procedure effecacey. This is my assessment of the lights.Comfort- The band is made of a light weight elastic texture which can be adjusted. So it doesn’t put much strain on your forehead.Size- it’s quite compact and easy to Take out and put back.Weight- the light on the band is a bit heavier but quite durable.Functionality- the light has many settings. Some of the light settings are way too bright. Would have be nice if it had a adjustable 3 stage dimming button. But the buttons just go to different light settings and they are all a bit bright. There is a red light which I am not particularly sure what that is used for.Value- It dose the job quite well easy to put on without hasle, no separate pieces that need to assembled, aids very in visibility and accuracy into the mouth. Over all it’s a good product!Life span- I haven’t had it for too long but so far the battery life and band durability holds quite well for the months I have had it.Hope this helps.

Well worth the money!!
These are so much better that the single one I bought at Lowe’s for $30. Plus they are much lighter since they don’t have 3 AAA batteries in them. The brightness is a good as some of my expensive flashlights and the tilt mechanism seems like it will outlast the Lowe’s one by a long shot. They come mostly charged out of the box so it only took a little while to top them off. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Plus with the motion detection turned on you don’t have to fiddle with the buttons if you’re wearing gloves.

A must have for truck drivers
I bought this for my husband who drives truck and these rechargeable headlamps are necessary. Although he has only used them for a week, it makes it so much easier to have his hands free as he does his tractor, trailer and load pre-inspection before hitting the road for nighttime driving. The light is bright and they are lightweight. The flashing red light helps while walking thru the yard to his truck so others can see him. He recharges them while driving using the same “C” cord as his phone so that they are always ready. Would purchase again.

Must Have Item for Night Work and Power Outages
We found out about these during Sandy. They were life savers. This brand is the new kind, rechargeable vs battery and that makes them even better. We use them for any night work, walking the dog, BBQing after dark, checking for noises. The night vision is helpful and the flash is good for evening walks.Worth adding if ONLY for power outages. They are a game changer vs. flashlights and candles. Though nothing can replace a good flashlight according to my husband (as he is looking for these with said flashlight).

Great value for the money
Purchased these for my son and me for a camping trip. For the money, they are a great value. The battery life lasted for quite a while, and I like how many different settings it has has.
